A huge Crowd gathered at River Ganga for taking a bath

Since Wednesday, huge crowds of devotees started visiting different Ganga ghats in the Sahibganj district for taking bath, on the special occasion of Guru Purnima. They performed puja and charity after bathing.

 

 

Guru Purnima festival is celebrated at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Taljhari

On Wednesday, the Guru Purnima festival was celebrated with joy and happiness, at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Lalmati, Taljhari. On this special occasion, the program was started by offering flowers and lighting the Diya to the idol of Goddess Saraswati and after that Acharya Raj Kishore Dubey celebrated the birthday of Maharishi Ved Vyas as Guru Purnima festival. At this program, Acharya Raj Kishore Dubey, Ujjwal Sah, Varsha Singh, Uttam Mandal, Mithilesh Yadav, and other members were present.

681 students appeared in the Medha Scholarship Examination

On Wednesday, Chief Minister’s Medha Scholarship Examination 2022-23 was conducted by JAC (Jharkhand Academic Council) in a very peaceful atmosphere at all the nine centers of the Sahibganj district, under the supervision of the Central Superintendent and the Magistrate. Out of 900 candidates, 681 candidates appeared and 219 candidates remained absent at this examination. The exam timing was 9.45 AM to 01.00 PM and additional 30 minutes were given to handicapped candidates.
