Deoghar Airport and Projects worth Rs. 16,800 Crores inaugurated by PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Deoghar Airport and Projects worth Rs. 16,800 Crores including Mirzachowki – Farakka four-lane road. After that, PM Modi went to Babadham Mandir followed by a road show, where a huge crowd of people gathered on both sides of the road welcoming the PM of India with slogans like – Har-Har Modi and Ghar-Ghar Modi. After that, PM Modi worshipped Lord Shiva for around 15 minutes and became the country’s first Prime Minister to offer prayers at Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple which is one among the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Delhi Crime Branch reached Tinpahar in the case of human trafficking
Delhi Crime Branch Police reached Ayodhya village of Tinpahar for investigation on the case of human trafficking and in search of an accused from Borio Police station area. There is the house of the relative of the accused. As per the information, a person from the Borio police station area has been accused selling of a five-month-old milk-mouthed child in the Rohini Police station area of Delhi. Delhi’s Rohini Crime Branch Police has recovered the child and investigated the whole matter. The police did not get any clue in this investigation. The police have gone in search of the alleged accused. The person was handed over to the child for upbringing. The said person had sold the child for about Rs. 15 lakhs.
A rescue plan has been prepared to deal with possible floods in the Sahibganj district
On Tuesday, under the chairmanship of DC Ram Niwas Yadav, in view of the possibility of a flood in the collectorate auditorium, a review meeting was held for pre-preparation and disaster management plans on floods. DC inquired about the equipment used in floods like boats, wood cutter machines, life jackets, tubes, availability of rope, and other arrangements like rescue plans, the reach of the NDRF team, etc. He also informed to get the damaged boat repaired immediately. He was instructed to send a demand report about the materials needed for rescue and relief work. In the meeting, the District Animal Husbandry Officer was instructed to keep necessary medicines for diseases caused by animals during and after floods DC has set up a control room, rain gauge, LCT, and crop estimation, at district and block levels.
The electricity supply will remain closed in Borio, Taljhari, Tinpahar, Mandro, and Sahibganj
Due to some nance work at Sahibganj Grid Substation 132/33KV, Electricity supply will be closed from Sahibganj grid for 2 hours from 8 am to 10 am, on 13th July. Due to this, the power supply will remain closed in all 33 KV feeders e.g., Borio, Taljhari, Tinpahar, Mandro, and Sahibganj coming out of this grid substation.
Sahibganj College staff might go on indefinite strike for some demands
The non-teaching staff of Sahibganj College will go on an indefinite strike on the call of the University and College Regional Employees Federation, led by Sangh President Sajendra Sharma for many demands. Sangh President Sajendra Sharma said that in support of the demands, on July 12 and 14, they will work with a black badge and they will be on mass holiday on 15th and 16th July 2022. Moreover, from July 18 to July 22, they will run the “Ghera Daro-Dera Dalo program” at Sido-Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka. He added, that if the demands of the non-teaching employees are not fulfilled even after this, then they will go on an indefinite strike from July 23.
