Renovation of the Sahibganj bus stand will be done in 80 lakhs

Due to the unavailability of bus sheds, passengers are facing lots of trouble who came here for catching the bus, which is why passenger amenities will increase at Sahibganj Bus Stand. For this, the Sahibganj City Council has prepared an estimate of around 80 lakhs and passed the same to the city development department for approval. Once it is approved, the tender will be floated for the same. As per the information, a passenger shed will be constructed here and other amenities like issues caused during the rainy season will be resolved.

Special Summer awareness campaign launched by the DC of Sahibganj

A Special summer awareness campaign launched by Sahibganj DC in the Sahibganj District starting from 15^th July till July 31, under the Women and Child Development Project. Anemic women and malnourished children will be identified in this campaign for 15 days under the special summer campaign. With the aim of making this campaign successful and spreading awareness among the people, the awareness LED chariot was flagged off by DC Ram Niwas Yadav with the help of the District Social Welfare Department and District Administration. People will be informed about the symptoms of anemia and symptoms of malnutrition through the LED installed in the awareness chariot. This chariot will run in all 9 blocks of the district for the next five days and will make people aware.
