Herbs Day celebrated by Patanjali Mahila Samiti
On Thursday, Herbs Day was celebrated by Patanjali Mahila Samiti on the special occasion of Acharya Balkrishna’s birthday by the Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti. Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh, Awadhesh Kumar, and Sudarshan Gupta were the chief guests and they inaugurated this special occasion. In this event, medicinal plants (like Punarnava, Kalamad, Aparajita, Parijat, Patharchatta, Chiranjeevi, Gouthwat, Nigasnudi, Satyanashi, Bhangroi, Bhadhangaraja, Ajwain, Sugarcane, Ashwagandha, etc.) were distributed among the people.
Devotees reached Shivgadi Dham with 54 feet Kanwar
On Wednesday, the Dharma Jagran Jatha reached Shivgadi Dham via Barhait Bazar Main Road, with 54 feet of Kanwar, which was started from Sahibganj on Monday. A huge crowd gathered at Shivgadi to see the 54 feet of Kanwar for Lord Shiva. These devotees of Lord Shiva were welcomed by the Shivgadi Management Committee and the people of Barhait with Rangoli. Moreover, water and fruits were served to them. On reaching Shivgadi, the members of the Shivgadi Management Committee also gave a grand welcome. Devotees worshipped Lord Shiva with water and vine leaves (Bel Patra) at Shivgadi temple. The convener of Dharma Jagran Jatha (Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Bhagat), said that the 3-day-long Kanwar Yatra with 54 feet of Kanwar was completed with the offering of water to Lord Shiva in Shivgadi Dham temple at Barhait, Sahibganj.
