More details about Kanhaiyasthan Temple

Kanhaiyasthan Temple is located in Rajmahal block of Sahibganj district. It is believed that in the Dvapara Yuga, when Lord Krishna created Maharas on the night of Sharad Purnima, it is believed that for some time the place of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani Maharas had become introspective. Both of them had gone to Gupt Vrindavan at that time. That secret Vrindavan is famous by the name of Kanai Sthan (Kanhaiyasthan).

This place sitting on the holy banks of Maa River Ganga and the temple built by ISKCON is very delightful. Moreover, the mind is delighted to see the beautiful view of Maa Ganga by climbing the peak of the temple. Tourists come here to get cool air in the hot summer. Kanhaiya Sthan is a very serene, naturally spiritual inspiration. There is also a guest house with state-of-the-art facilities for the tourists coming from outside the temple, where the facility of living is available at a minimum fee, as well as Kheer is offered to the visiting devotees every day at the time of Sandhya Aarti.
